Scott Burns, Day 1 – Behind The Scenes (Part 1)

With Scott Burns’ long-awaited debut LP, Day 1, just around the corner – there will be blogs put up here following the making of the album throughout the various studios. Here’s part one – an insight into Green Dragon studio in Sydney, where Scott works with producer SDub (Sean Windsor) on the final mixdowns of two tracks.

Located just to the north of Sydney…the views outside gave a good break from the mixing process:

The centrepiece of the setup here is the circa 1969 Quad Eight mixing desk:



All connected via some nice Apogee Analog-to-Digital (and D/A) gear:

Fortunately it amuses as before…………….I’m trying to keep away from reading posts like this. It is totally meaningless. Ain’t it shame to post rubbish like this?

I prefer reading this kind of information when I’m alone in the room, so no one would see an expression on my face. It’s disgusting! I don’t believe a single grose word about it!
