OLOGY

Industry maestro DJ Ology has spent the last 10 years immersed deep in the music game at every level of production, promotion and performance.
He’s rocked the Sydney airwaves as host of FBi’s award winning Stolen Records radio show and also regularly drops sets on The Triple J Hip Hop show. He’s imparted his knowledge to the masses as a music journo for Sydney street press and hip hop mags and held it down behind the decks at seemingly every credible hip hop show to come to Sydney in recent years including support spots for Wu-Tang Clan, EPMD, Lord Finesse, M.O.P., DJ Cash Money, Ghostface Killah, DJ Revolution, J. Period, Neil Armstrong (Jay-Z’s DJ) and many more.
He has rocked the main stage at Days Like This Festival warming up for Redman & Method Man and is a regular on the club and bar circuit keeping the floors packed at Dr Pong’s, Ching-a-Lings, Melt, Civic Underground and a swag of others. Whether its 90s Boom Bap, club anthems, reggae, neo-soul or funk – Ology can bring it.
With two years as manager of Sydney’s former hip hop hub, Soul Clap Records, he has earned the reputation for ear-to-the-ground street knowledge that most industry heads can only dream about. Its no over-statement to say that nobody knows the ins and outs of the local hip hop machine or keeps the punters happy the way this man does.
