Scott Burns
For the past six years, Scott has been busy carving his name into the local hiphop scene. Starting out on the freestyle and battle circuit, Scott quickly made a name of himself with his ability to move the crowd “off the top of the head”.
Not content with being labelled a “freestyle MC”, Scott quickly moved into other areas of MC’ing, including hosting events and radio shows, touring his own material around Australia, recording tracks, as well as organising underground parties around Sydney. He also has used his MC skills to assist with workshops, social work in schools and on the streets, and acting as a liason for community organisations to get involved with other hiphop artists.
His first foray into the world of mixtapes, Seven Day Sessions: The Demonstration, was voted mixtape of the year by the Australian hiphop community on OzHipHop.COM. In November 2008, Scott released his debut LP through LookUP – entitled “Day 1″. The album was awarded “Local Release Of The Year” by Australian street press publication 3D World and continues to be discovered by hiphop heads around the world today. When he is not making things happen for LookUP, he is working on new tunes and contemplating how many premierships the Dragons may win in his lifetime.

Bingethinkers
As anyone who has seen their live set can attest to, “The Binge” are a dangerous combination of four individuals with an unstoppable energy of boom bap beats and lyrics. Comprising of Aeon and PsykeOne on the beats, 2Buck on the decks, and Rinse on the microphone – Bingethinkers know how to rock a party.
Back in 2007, Bingethinkers released their mixtape Shelf Life – standing out from the crowd by bringing all the beatmaking and production in-house and featuring guests such as 13th Son, Scott Burns, Immune and Calski. Whilst only the tip of the iceberg, Shelf Life showed Australia what Bingethinkers were capable of and soon saw them touring with the likes of Def Wish Cast around the country – as well as playing on international bills with Tha Alkaholiks, Dilated Peoples Sound System, Looptroop, Tim Dog, Foreign Beggars and more.
Currently working on their debut album and keeping the LookUP engine ticking over, keep your eyes in the sky and get ready to hear more from one of Australia’s premier upcoming crews.

That’s Them
Having formed less than two years ago, That’s Them have pushed and shoved their way into the Aussie hiphop listeners minds with their skillful production and hard-hitting live energy. A trio consisting of Sarm and Nebs on the microphone, as well as Kinetic on the turntables – That’s Them burst out of the busy Sydney hiphop scene in 2007 with their self-titled EP.
The EP quickly made it’s way into hiphop collections around the country and saw the boys sharing gigs with the likes of Necro and Lazy Grey. With Nebs’ now demonstrating his potential as a beatmaker, That’s Them are quickly building a distinct sound on their debut LP – “Stay Up” – recently released through LookUP and available via all good hiphop stores and iTunes.

Deejay Mathmatics
What can you say about the man that has done it all? For over 15 years Mathmatics has been a presence throughout Australia in DJ’ing and Breakdancing. He has DJ’d alongside legendary acts such as Kool Herc and Run DMC, and performed at events such as Big Day Out and the X-Treme games.
Still – Deejay Mathmatics is as busy as ever. After recently completing his two part mixtape series – B-Boy Throwdown Vol. 1 and 2 – Mathmatics got busy once again in the mixtape lab to complete the inaugural LookUP mixtape – Look UP In the Sky.
With skills across multiple elements and a non-stop approach – it’s a safe bet that you’ll catch Mathmatics either behind the decks or on the dance floor at a venue near you real soon.

DJ Ology
Industry maestro DJ Ology has spent the last 7 years immersed deep in the music game at every level of production, promotion and performance. He’s rocked the Sydney airwaves as host of FBi’s award winning Stolen Records radio show and also regularly dropped sets on 2Ser and TripleJ hip hop shows. He’s imparted his knowledge to the masses as a music journo for Sydney street press and hip hop mags such as , and held it down behind the decks at seemingly every credible show to come to Sydney in recent years. But the past two years as manager of Sydney’s hip hop hub Soul Clap Records has given Ology the reputation for ear-to-the-ground street knowledge that most industry heads can only dream about. Its no over-statement to say that nobody knows the ins and outs of the local hip hop machine the way this man does. Recently nominated to sit on a panel that will redefine the ‘Urban’ category of the ARIA awards and approve all nominations in this category, his role as hard-working hip hop tastemaker is clearly being recognised nationally.
Remember that hot Eurasian chick who drove the pink Honda in 2 Fast 2 Furious? Well, much like his street-racing Miami bad-girl namesake, video artist, animator and director ‘Suki’ brings that all-important visual layer to the Lookup brand. His passion for the hip hop genre keeps his style fresh and relevant, while his professional work in the video industry means he is able to bring cutting-edge industry techniques to all his LookUP productions. Recent clips for Scott Burns ‘Still Time’ and ‘The Frequency’ and Bingethinkers ‘Full Rotation’ have been burning up the web for months now and some have even found their way onto the international front page of Youtube. From film clips to live visuals to viral web videos and more, Suki ensures that LookUP’s visual presence stays that cut above the rest.
